Phra Kru Samut Tham Sunthon (Sud Siritharo) a.k.a. Luang Phor Sud is a famous monk from Samut Sakhon Province at Wat Kalong. He is created the famous Yant Takraw well known for its kongkrapan effect (invincible).
LP Sud was born on the 7th May BE 2445 and a native to Amphur Phanam Phrai in Rot Et Province. LP Sud ordained as a novice monk on the 16th April 1918 at Wat Klang Phanom Phrai at Roi Et Province. His preceptor was Phra Kru Mao who later became an important teacher whom LP Sud respected greatly. LP Sud travelled to Bangkok to seek more Dharma knowledge. LP Sud later ordained as a Monk at Wat Kalong and became the Abbot of Wat Kalong in 1938.
LP Sud had learnt wiccha magic and dharma from LPu Mao (Wat Klang Phanom Phrai), LP Rung (Wat Tha Krabue), LP Kong (Wat Bang Kraphom)
LP Sud adhered strictly to monkhood. in 1978, LP Sud suffered from nasophaynitis and in 1981, LP Sud was struck with gastritis and an operation was performed. LP Sud continued his daily religious regime and due to old age, he also became weaker. on 14 August BE 2526, LP Sud passed away peacefully.
LP Sud was given Royal Cremation in 2002. miracle happened. During the cremation, the flesh on the body was burnt but the bone/skeleton was perfectly intact without damage despite the burning had taken quite a long time.
